At Shaw's it's always Buy 1 get one free, 10 for $10, but I don't want to buy in bulk so much to get a deal. Beware Managers Specials, as the food may be very close to expiring. They do have good closeout sales, esp. on day old baked goods.
This Shaw's store is my personal favorite. It's always well stocked and clean. The floor staff most of the time is incredibly helpful and the front end staff is courteous, efficient and personable. It makes for a great shopping experience.
This place is a very poor example of a grocery store. For the 3rd time I have left the store and driven across town to Hannafords because of lack of product.
Bring a chair so you'll be comfortable in the check out line. Reminiscent of checking out in Kmart.
I'm so very very disappointed and very very sad. Walked in store 10 minutes before closing never heard a closing Page nor the 5 minutes before closing Page. Stood at front of store with my small basket of items especially a chowder to eat as I had skipped dinner working late and after yelling HELLO after aprox 10 minutes an employee emerged and said OH TOO LATE. Offered to leave $20 which was more than cost of items in basket and was told NO very rudely by employee and supposed manager. Even asked if I could give just $5 chowder to eat tonight and was rudely told NO again. Very poor management where they lock a customer in the store and extremely poor people skills for dealing with this situation. Luckily I'm honest person as I think most people would have just walked out with merchandise . Suggest skill training in this location. Very sadly as I've been a loyal Shaw's customer for over 20 years. I'm just very sad and disappointed. Was really looking forward to that chowder treat after my 16 hour day.......... after speaking with store manager next day he spoke very professionally and satisfied me beyond expectations,............... thank you

As in previous visits it was easy to stop at Shaws because I was driving by the store on the way home but ends up taking twice as long. Not going to waste my time again.
It is a joke to go to a major grocery store on a Friday evening and have so many products gone and empty spots on their shelves.
